Succession planning

More than half of Australia's small business owners are over 50. Many have no written plan for who takes over, when, or on what terms. When an owner steps back without a plan, the business often loses customers, staff, and value.

What we do

We meet with you, your family, and your key people to agree on the goal. That might be handing over to the next generation, selling to staff, selling to an outside buyer or winding down. We value the business, work out the tax outcome, test whether the buyer can fund the purchase, and check that you'll have enough to retire on. We work with your solicitor and financial adviser so the legal and personal pieces line up.

What you receive

  • A written succession plan with a timeline, roles and responsibilities
  • A current business valuation and the tax outcome of the transfer
  • Facilitated family or partner meetings, if you need them
Fee

Quoted as a fixed fee. Virtual CFO clients review progress at each quarterly advisory board meeting.
